GRE,GMAT,CAT,DOG,DONKEY,GATE,DOOR!!!!
The title clearly says it all,yes i am going to write about the competitive examination trauma that a particular individual undergoes at the end of his under graduation.
I am mainly sharing this with you because i was in a state of imbroglio when i was in my final year. I do not want ane another individual to undergo the same. All i would suggest is try to do a self study about your strengths and weaknesses. If you are technically strong which means you are able to code the TSR program in lab exam without mugging or getting the output in electronics circuits or LIC lab(trust me i have never ever got an output in my four year stint) please think about giving MS or GATE a shot rather than thinking about CAT. If you have great interpersonal skill think about CAT or GMAT(provided your dad is an ATM). At the end of the day its your passion that determines what you want to pursue. What i would like to suggest is having a clear defined approach and focus which will help you in saving time and money. Having your goals set all that requires is sheer hard work, you have to shed down lots of midnite oil, sleepless nite and days all that you can do to achieve your goal.
I would like to share a story ,there was a friend of mine just like others entered his third year. When he was in his third year he found few of his friends sitting with Barrons in class room and exchanging the synonyms of some of the words lackadaisical,burusque,etc... . He found it too intersting and he started reading along with them and finally decided to give GRE a take. To his surprise he flunked in the exam with a very poor score. Having scored poorly in GRE he sat with other set of group who were preparing for the "Billi".Having lured towards the high profile jobs and intricacies of maths he was so fascinated that he decide to bell the cat. Again to his surprise he got a score of shoonya(zero) in data interpretation. And things never came to an end and he kept on writing all the exams that appeared in the advertisements. This story will happen to you untill you dont know what exactly you wanna pursue. Devise a clear cut plan stating this is what i want to become in five years from now, these are the hurdles that i need to cross, having the goals clearly defined start enjoying the journey. The moral of the stroy define clear cut goals and try to accomplish.
**The friend who is described in the story is no one other than the me.
